Two Whiptail SSD Arrays Citrix Ready for XenServer

WHIPTAIL Technologies Inc. announced its flash storage arrays – INVICTA and ACCELA – are verified as Citrix Ready.

The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix. INVICTA and ACCELA have completed a verification process to ensure compatibility with multiple versions of Citrix XenServer providing confidence in joint solution compatibility.

The program makes it easy for customers to identify complementary products and solutions that can enhance Citrix environments. Both INVICTA and ACCELA passed a series of tests established by Citrix, and can be trusted to work with XenServer in order to improve VDI deployments while reducing latency.

Both INVICTA and ACCELA are flash silicon storage arrays that deliver performance and improve application response time while consuming less energy than legacy storage arrays. They enable databases, virtualized and online environments, to process more data in less time. More specifically, ACCELA provides 100% improvement in IOPS and 1,000% reduction in latency over HDDs and INVICTA is able to virtually eliminate lag-time and latency for VDI deployments in excess of 12,000 concurrent users in 14U of rack space and a nominal 1,500 watts of power.
