Start-Up ScaleIO in Stealth Mode

Privately-held and Delaware-based Scaleio, Inc., born last year, is about to launch but has revealed about nothing about its activity.

It is supposed to develop web-based storage solutions such as virtual storage area network (VSAN) designed for multi-tenant cloud environments. The scalable storage system, designed for multi-tenant cloud environments, has alreay been tested with XenServer.

The company seems to be financed by Greylock Partners.

Its founder and CTO is Erez Webman, formerly at XtremIO, NetApp, Topio and IBM Haifa Research Lab. Its business development manager is Bamiyan Antonius Gobets.
