… And CFO Clyde Hosein Resigns

Marvell Technology Group Ltd. announced that after four years with Marvell, Clyde R. Hosein has resigned as CFO to pursue other opportunities.

 Since June 2008, Clyde Hosein has served as CFO of Marvell and he also served as its interim COO and secretary from October 2008 to March 2010. From 2003 to 2008, he was VP and CFO of Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT), a provider of essential mixed-signal semiconductor solutions. From 2001 to 2003, he served as SVP, finance and administration and CFO of Advanced Interconnect Technologies, a semiconductor assembly and test company. He has also held other senior level financial positions, including the role of CFO at Candescent Technologies, a developer of flat panel display technology. Early in his career he spent 14 years in financial and engineering roles at IBM. He is board’s member of Cree, Inc.

Brad Feller, VP and corporate controller, will serve as interim CFO at Marvell during a search for Hosein’s replacement.  

Brad Feller has served as Marvell’s corporate controller since September 2008. Prior to joining that, he was corporate controller of IDT from April 2005 to September 2008 and financial reporting manager from October 2003 to April 2005. Prior to joining IDT, he served in various roles at Ernst & Young LLP in the high technology practice from July 1997 to September 2003.

Feller is a CPA in the State of California and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University.

"When Clyde joined in 2008 he anticipated the downturn and helped position us for a strong recovery. In addition, over the past four years Clyde was instrumental in implementing enhanced financial controls and accounting procedures.  We wish him the best in his future endeavors," said Sehat Sutardja, Marvell CEO and chairman.

Hosein will assist Marvell during this transition period.
