In IT services and solutions including storage

Midas Medici Group Holdings, Inc. (MMED), an IT infrastructure and managed services company, has signed a definitive agreement to sell substantially all of the assets of its StraTech brand to Datalink Corp.

The assets sold include all customer contracts and relationships and is expected to be effective on October 4th, 2012.

"We are pleased to have reached this significant agreement with Datalink," said chairman, CEO and co-Founder Nana Baffour. "It is consistent with our strategy of creating shareholder value from an efficient and profitable stewardship of our assets. Under our stewardship, StraTech has performed extremely well, including growing 30% over the past 24 months. "This sale is positive for our shareholders, as well as for our customers."

The acquisition will be Datalink’s second in the last 12 months following the purchase of Minneapolis-based data center IT services firm Midwave Corporation in October 2011.

Both transactions are part of ongoing objective to accelerate business growth through both organic and acquisition strategies.

The transaction has been approved by the boards of directors of both Datalink and StraTech, as well as StraTech’s sole stockholder and is expected close on or about October 4, 2012 upon satisfaction of certain closing conditions.
