BackupAgent in Partnership With Citrix to Deliver Cloud Backup to Service Providers

BackupAgent BV
and Citrix
Systems Inc.
announced their partnership for the delivery of cloud backup through
the Citrix CloudPortal Services Manager to service providers
worldwide.

As part of this announcement
BackupAgent has joined the Citrix
Ready
Program
and completed verification testing of its cloud backup platform for
service providers with Citrix, providing confidence in the
compatibility of the joint solution. Citrix CloudPortal Services
Manager helps service providers manage the delivery of cloud services
and offerings to their customers. The v10
now offers integration with BackupAgent enabling all service
providers to add cloud backup to their service catalog and activate
the backup services for their customers in seconds.

With BackupAgent’s cloud backup
software, service providers can offer their customers automated cloud
backup with several features, such as backup of Outlook, IE
Favorites, and Windows System state. It also comprises backup of
Exchange Server, SQL Server, and MySQL databases.
