KineticD, (Acpana Business Systems Inc.) announced that Mike L.
Chase, aka ‘Dr. Cloud’, CEO and co-founder of tamCloud, Inc., has chosen KineticCloud

Large and small companies alike are looking for solutions to protect the data of mobile employees and in Remote Office/Branch Offices (ROBO). Often, bandwidth and budget constraints don’t allow for the replication of data
to a central office and managing tape backup has become far too
resource-intensive.

"We have found that vloud backup is
the most effective and economic way to solve the ROBO problem,"
said
Chase. "We have been able to leverage the hybrid backup technology of
KineticCloud Backup for Servers to not only permanently solve this problem for
our customers, but also to unlock a new, recurring revenue stream that ties our
customers even closer to tamCloud.
"

The KineticCloud Backup for Servers software integrates natively with applications
such as Exchange, SQL, Hyper-V and VMware at the VM level using APIs. By keeping a copy of customer data in the KineticD datacenter, customers
with VPN access to tamCloud’s datacenters are able to utilize this hot failover
option for their ROBO environments, giving them data security and recovery
times.

"Our partners are an important part
of our business success,
" said Jamie Brenzel, CEO of KineticD. "We are proud to support cloud service
providers, such as tamCloud, as they capture the share of the growing cloud
backup market. By utilizing KineticD’s leading technology, they are able to
deliver reliable, scalable and feature-rich value added services to their customers.
