Nebraska Community Medical Center Opts for BridgeHead Software

BridgeHead Software Ltd
announced that Community
Medical Center, Inc. (CMC), an access hospital in Falls City, Nebraska, selected BridgeHead’s Healthcare Data Management (HDM) Solution as its backup
and archiving environment.

The BridgeHead implementation will be part of a five-year IT strategy to
organize the hospital’s electronic medical record data into a secure, scalable data management framework that will ensure both data protection
and regulatory compliance.

Community medical center IT director Brian Evans chose BridgeHead’s HDM
solution because it met his requirement for transparent data management with
predictable costs and reliable maintenance and support.

CMC’s future plans include the implementation of offsite storage to better
support DR enabled by the BridgeHead Solution. In addition, its five-year
strategy includes a move to a digital environment. Consequently,
it was important to have data management software that could bring this static
information into a secure, cost-effective archive.

HDM solution enables hospitals to increase the quality
of care by harnessing all clinical and administrative data, ensuring that it
is stored efficiently and at optimum cost; Protected from
misuse, corruption and loss; and can be Shared between users, applications, departments
or other hospitals, making vital patient information accessible to the people
who need it.
