VirtualSharp Software Corp., provider of automated DR solutions for private and public clouds, announced that Core DataCloud‘s (part of Core Consultancy) new Recovery-as-a-Service (RaaS) for SMBs is based on VirtualSharp’s ReliableDR product, enabling SMBs to protect their vSphere virtualized applications and guarantee SLAs.

Automated recovery processes in the cloud ensure that RPO and RTO become ‘Actuals’ (RPA/RTA) and organizations can guarantee compliance with corporate BC policies. These benefits, combined with low start up costs and a pay-as-you-go monthly pricing model, confirm analyst projections that the RaaS model will be used by as much as 30% of midsize companies by 2014.
