Raxco Released PerfectFileRecovery ($100 for 5 PCs)
Utility for Windows to restores deleted files
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on September 18, 2012 at 2:48 pmRaxco Software, Inc. announced PerfectFileRecovery, a Windows-based application that allows users to restore deleted files that other tools can’t.
It helps users recover from potentially disastrous situations where precious pictures, videos, and other files would otherwise be gone forever.
Typical file recovery programs can’t recapture all deleted files. PerfectFileRecovery retrieves hard-to-find deleted files and folders that most programs can’t find, including digital photos, spreadsheets, Word documents, music files, video files, databases, presentations and more.
PerfectFileRecovery includes these capabilities
for recovering files and folders:
- File Discovery that scans PC drives, devices and memory cards to find files that are invisible to other file recovery programs. It finds traces of a file (file signatures) that may be scattered across your drive, even in instances where the file name no longer exists.
- LiveView File Preview displays previews of lost files prior to recovering them, with three file preview modes. This includes video and music file playback and recovery.
- Photo recovery allows users to retrieve pictures and undelete photos in seconds. Lost pictures can be recovered from PC, corrupt drives, formatted drives, digital cameras and memory cards.
- iPod recovery allows users to retrieve deleted music and audio files, after first playing them back in a preview mode.
- Reformatted drive recovery retrieves all files from a reformatted drive.
- Corrupt file recovery provides the best possible chance of getting data back if a Windows drive has been corrupted. Recovery algorithms recover data from disks with bad sectors.
- Drive imaging that creates a single file containing an exact copy of a user’s physical drive, logical drive or removable device drive. This image even saves boot data and important file system data.
Beta user Nick Massimini had mistakenly formatted a photo card with pictures and videos. He tested nine different programs that missed many of his pictures and videos. Only PerfectFileRecovery found the files he was looking for.
"PerfectFileRecovery was just what I needed," said Massimini. "I was able to retrieve over 120 files, and I’ve now added PerfectFileRecovery to my arsenal of PC tools."
"PerfectFileRecovery addresses an important issue for millions of users," said Robert Nolan, president and CEO of Raxco Software. "With the proliferation of photo, videos and music files added to the already potential disaster from losing important Word files or spreadsheets, or even entire drives, PerfectFileRecovery gives users a comfort level in knowing they are protected from losing irreplaceable files and data. We are excited to add this new solution to our portfolio of disk drive utilities."
PerfectFileRecovery is available. Pricing starts at $69.99 for a 1-PC license; a Total Home License (5 PCs) is $99.99.
