Mach Technology ES USB 3.0 Flash Keys With SLC Chips
8GB, 16GB and 32GB, 170MB/s read and 185MB/s write
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on September 18, 2012 at 2:51 pmMach Xtreme Technology Inc. unveiled ES
Series USB 3.0 SLC
flash drives.
The MX-ES is a compact performance SLC
USB 3.0 flash and will be available in worldwide retail and e-tail starting on
September 20.
It utilizes SLC NAND to offer performance
and longer endurance over MLC NAND, which is typically used in other USB 3.0
pendrives.
"Changing the NAND components from
MLC to SLC significantly increases the performance and longevity of MX-ES flash
drive. These USB 3.0 flash pendrives are much more durable and reliable and are
built to endure severe operating environments such as extreme cold and hot
temperatures, continuous vibration, high shock impact, intensive read-write
cycles, etc," stated Tomasz Swatowski, marketing manager at MX Technology.
Such features are essential to users
that require a robust and rugged digital storage option to ensure repeatable
and reliable operation. With SLC flash and proven, the MX-ES Series outperforms
standard MLC-based pendrives.
The MX-ES flash drive delivers read and
write speeds clocking in at up to 170MB/s read and 185MB/s write along with its
compact size (72mm x 17mm x 7mm). It comes in 8GB, 16GB
and 32GB models.
All this combined with 5-year warranty.
