Epson CD/DVD Discproducer With Software for Mac

Epson Discproducer PP-100, PP-100AP and PP-50 are available to Mac users with the release of Mac OS X-compatible Discproducer software, Total Disc Maker Version 1.01.

The software, which was developed by Seiko Epson Corp., responds to the growing demand for Mac OS X-compatible disc publishing solutions.

Epson Australia’s business solutions manager, Craig Heckenberg said: "The
Discproducer range takes Epson’s experience and skills in advanced
technologies and merges them into a compact design which can now also be
utilised by Mac users."

so they can benefit from the reliable and sophisticated disc publishing
(burn and print) features of all Epson Discproducers. Total Disc Maker
Version 1.01 is now available for download from Epson’s website and the
Discproducer PP-100, PP-100AP and PP-50 shipped from August will come
with software discs," said Craig. "The Epson Discproducer range
enables users to bring affordable disc publishing in-house with
easy-to-use software that delivers the best in class full colour on-disc
printing while delivering a measureable cost savings compared with
outsourced disc production. The range is suitable for a variety of
businesses and applications, including creative agencies, music and
video production, healthcare, photography, education, government,
duplicators and corporations."

The Mac OS X-compatible Discproducer software supports three available
Discproducer models, PP-50, PP-100 and PP-100AP (Autoprinter).

Total Disc Maker Version 1.01 supports:

• Mac OS versions – Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, Mac OS X v10.7.3 Lion
• CD/DVD formats – all major standard formats for data, music, video
• Image formats – AI (Illustrator: PDF-compatible formatted), Adobe PDF, BMP, PNG, JPG, TIFF
• Audio formats – WAV, MP3, AIFF, AAC
• Barcodes types – EAN 8/13, ITF, Code39, Code128, NW-7, PDF417, QR
• Auto insert fields – date, time, data size, volume label, counter
• File systems – ISO9660, Joliet, UDF(1.02), UDF Bridge, HFS+
• Languages – English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese

Discproducer owners can download Total Disc Maker Version 1.01. It will
be included with any purchase of an Discproducer PP-50, PP-100 or
PP-100AP from August 2012.
