Vitex Focus FS-T2001 Portable HD/SD HD Media Recorder Available

It is designed as a field deck for both recording and playback of XDCAM files.
It will be presented at 2012 IBC Show in the Amsterdam RAI convention center.
FS-T2001 incorporates the complete range of Sony professional recording formats including 50Mbps MPEG HD422 and XDCAM EX/HD. It supports removable professional media: SxSPro, SxS-1 and SDHC cards1.
FS-T2001 also has 250GB of internal storage for either recording or management/storage.
"VITEC worked closely with Sony Corporation in Japan and broadcasters worldwide during the development of Focus FS-T2001," said Richard Bernard, product manager of broadcast solutions for VITEC. "This next generation recorder expands Sony XDCAM workflow in a portable and flexible field solution."
FS-T2001 is also a versatile playback device with a set of features and outputs. The clip thumbnail menu makes it simple to find and play back recorded video clips. These clips can be viewed on either the FS-T2001 LCD screen and/or from an external SDI or HDMI monitor.
The Focus FS-T2001 offers the ability to manage recorded video clips in many different ways: copy clips from one card to another or to the FS-T2001 250GB HDD, transfer clips from the FS-T2001 to a computer via USB cable, share content over the network (FTP/SMB) via Ethernet connection.
