Iomega Sold One Million Network Storage Devices

Iomega Corp., an EMC company, has sold more than one million network storage products, making it one of the most prominent SMB network storage brands in the worldwide market today.

Built on enterprise EMC storage technology, the Iomega StorCenter family of network storage devices excels at storage, easy-to-use content sharing and dependable data protection with remote access from anywhere in the world with Iomega Personal Cloud.

The StorCenter family is designed for SMBs, remote offices and workgroup environments. Several models are available in diskless and partially populated configurations, enabling users to start small in terms of storage capacity, or provide their own HDDs as workloads and storage capacity needs grow.

The Storcenter range has been adopted and approved by many companies throughout the world. In France, the Systemax group, via Inmac wstore and Misco, distributes Iomega NAS solutions since they were launched.

The StorCenter IX Series of desktop network storage products features the double-drive StorCenter ix2 Network Storage, available in a diskless model or up to 6TB, as well as the four-drive StorCenter ix4-200d Network Storage, available with up to 12TB .

The performance StorCenter PX Server Class Series of desktop and rackmount array products incorporates advanced computing features as well as utilizing 1TB, 2TB, 3TB and soon-to-be available 4TB server class SATA drives for reliability and continuous operation in critical business functions, such as ‘always on’ video surveillance applications. Incorporating multiple enterprise storage and security features, they range in storage capacities from diskless models up to 36TB of native storage.

For consumers and home offices, Iomega also offers the single-drive Iomega EZ Media and Backup Center. With up to 3TB of storage, the EZ Media and Backup Center makes it easy to share and access files, photos, videos, music and work files between all your home and office computers.
