10,000th Customer for Autonomy LiveVault

Autonomy Corporation PLC, an HP company, announced that over 10,000 businesses
are using its LiveVault product for cloud-based, server
data protection, storage, and management.

These organizations rely on LiveVault for a turnkey and secure data protection
service with offsite backup, long term retention, and DR in the cloud.

LiveVault backs up more than 37,000 servers and millions of files daily and
manages more than 9PB of data globally. The product protects data from
Windows and Linux OSs, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, and Oracle, as well as recently
added support for NAS. It also eliminates the complexity and cost of plug-ins
or third-party tools.

Some of the world’s largest financial service institutions,
government organizations, and several thousand SMBs rely on LiveVault to
protect their data. Organizations such as Robbins & Myers, Inc., Stream
Realty Partners, L.P. and Verifone use LiveVault’s cloud-based services to
store, back up, protect and recover massive repositories of data. LiveVault
enables customers to take advantage of a scalable,
distributed, secure, and fault tolerant storage grid.

Additionally, LiveVault now supports data protection for NAS
platforms, so customers can backup their CIFS
file shares. Enterprise backup customers who currently use HP Data Protector 7,
HP’s data protection solution for physical and virtual servers, can
now also take advantage of integrated cloud backup and recovery through
its integration with LiveVault.
