Hyve Solutions Flash Storage Appliance

Hyve Solutions, a division of SYNNEX Corporation and in purpose-built, datacenter server solutions, announced the Hyve Solutions Flash Storage Appliance.

This integrated, shared storage appliance integrates Fusion-io, Inc. products, including its new Fusion ION Data Accelerator software and Fusion ioMemory flash memory tier, with powerful servers to accelerate application performance by up to 30 times. The appliance deploys into existing storage networks and scales to meet the growing demand for fast and reliable access to enterprise data.

Utilizing its expertise in custom server design and integration, Hyve Solutions transforms enterprise-class servers, ION Data Accelerator software and ioMemory PCIe products into a tested and certified performance shared storage platform for applications throughout the datacenter.

The Flash Storage Appliance offers features, including the creation of RAID sets, LUN creation and management, SNMP, performance monitoring, and more. Using ION Data Accelerator software GUI, storage administrators can deployperformance storage to solve critical application issues, increase workload capabilities, and speed batch processing. Database performance can be accelerated to handle traffic spikes and slash response times to meet business objectives.
