Crossroads Offers ReadVerify Appliance 800f for Libraries

Monitoring up to 750 devices with 8 FC ports

Crossroads Systems, Inc., announced availability of ReadVerify Appliance (RVA) 800f, the latest model in the family of RVA appliances that save organizations time and money by proactively validating the integrity and optimization of tape library systems.

RV800f offers all of the same features and functionality as previous RVA models, but with eight FC ports that provide the ability to monitor up to 750 devices within multiple heterogeneous libraries. Other models offer two FC ports in either an appliance or in VMware configurations.

"The increase in ports in RV800f further positions RVA as the premier tape monitoring, analysis and reporting tool for the largest enterprises," said Elaine Pleshek, senior product manager at Crossroads Systems. "Early adopters of RV800f currently include entities within the Fortune 100 and federal government – truly underscoring the level of trust and reliance on RVA’s time-tested technology. With RV800f and all other RVA models, organizations can remain confident in the continued optimized operation of their tape libraries and secure in the knowledge that data can be restored, should disaster strike."
