Netwave to Offer Actifio Protection and Availability Storage Platform

Actifio, Inc. announced Netwave Corporation as the most recent service provider to offer next generation cloud services based on its Protection and Availability Storage (PAS) platform.

 
Cloud service providers including News-Press & Gazette Co., Lighthouse Computer Services, NaviSite, Inc. (a Time Warner Cable company), and now Netwave, are taking advantage of PAS to transform the economics of data management and offer broad public and private cloud data management services including backup, remote backup, and test and development.

Netwave Delivers Cloud Data Management Services
With Actifio, Netwave will now offer multiple cloud data management services – including backup/recovery, data replication, data copy and BC for both on- and off-premise customers – on a single platform for their diverse range of commercial business clients, government agencies – including the State of Ohio – and educational institutions. According to Goodson, many of Netwave’s top customers are already using the Actifio-based cloud service, and recognizing the benefits of copy data management.
