Alessandro Fin VP Product Management, Skyera

Skyera Inc. announced the addition of two technology veterans to its executive team as the company ramps towards the launch of its enterprise solid-state storage system.

Joining company founders Dr. Radoslav Danilak as CEO and Chief Architect Rodney Mullendore are Dr. Alessandro Fin, VP of Product Management and Roy DCruz, VP of Array Systems.

 Fin has more than 10 years of experience in product management, technical support and business development for enterprise solid-state storage suppliers. Prior to Skyera, he was VP of product development for PNY Technologies and previously was director of solid state storage at SMART Modular Technologies, where he led the marketing team responsible for delivery of the company’s first enterprise solid-state drive product line and the roadmap definition for flash storage products. He holds a doctorate degree and MS in Computer Science from the University of Verona, Italy.

 DCruz, a 25-year veteran of the data center networking and storage solutions space, comes from iTools where he was VP of marketing and product management. Prior to that, he was principle engineer at Brocade, contributing to the architecture of FCoE and storage services. His career also spans Nishan Systems as engineering director and primary architect developing the world’s first network-based storage virtualization solution, and in the role of lead virtualization architect at Andiamo and Cisco on the joint Cisco/EMC storage virtualization project. He has an MS in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Technology, BHU, India.
