Ian Parslow SVP European Sales, MTI

MTI Technology announces the appointment of Ian Parslow as SVP of Sales for Europe.

The appointment sees MTI create a new job role to support its growth, which has seen group revenues now amass $100 million and the company reach 200 employees.
 
 Parslow, who has been promoted from his previous position as VP of Sales, will now lead the company’s European sales strategy and the marketing activities of the firm’s cloud, managed services, security services and data centre infrastructure businesses.

Prior to joining MTI in 2004 and during his time at EMC, Ian held a series of sales and sales management roles, culminating in the position of Channel District sales manager, responsible for a team focused on EMC’s key partner BT. From 1996 to 2000 he was a senior account manager at StorageTek, subsequently acquired by Sun Microsystems.

He started his IT career with GigaStorage Limited, a regional data storage reseller, where he gained experience working with a series of international vendors.
