Cactus Technologies Brings Out Commercial Grade CF Cards

Sai-Ying Ng, president of Cactus Technologies, said: "As with our recently released SD Card, many OEMs are looking for cost effective flash storage devices which are much more reliability than offered by the Consumer flash card market. The Cactus 210 Series Commercial Grade CF Card offers this more reliable solution."
The CF card offers the following features:
- Industry Standard CompactFlash form factor
- Capacities of 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64GB
- Bill-Of-Material Control
- Long Life Cycles
- 100K endurance cycles per block
- Altitude spec of 100,000 feet
- ECC and Defect Management
- 200K Hour MTBF
- Based on MLC NAND memory
Joseph Chang, VP of Engineering, stated: "For some applications, the cost benefit analysis shows an Industrial Grade product too costly while Consumer cards are not reliable enough.The Cactus Technologies Commercial Grade products offer the most reliable MLC NAND at a reasonable cost to satisfy many of these applications."
