The AR212E, AR316E and AR424E design makes use of the PCIe x8 as the interface link to the host computer and RAID storage device. Build upon RAID engines that utilizes on all hardware RAID rackmount storage, this rack-mountable RAID solution designed for file servers, backup, audio/video streaming, and digital video recording.

It is capable of daisy chaining additional JBOD storage expansion units, up to 122 drives, and is a solution for applications requiring large storage.

The bundled PCIe x8 HBA is able to provide a direct connection, without complicated conversion to storage protocols such as iSCSI, FC, etc. The AccuRAID AR212E, AR316E, and AR424E provide performance with minimum drops in real world data access and writing up to 1,600 MB/s or 400K IOPS.

The demands for higher speed disk array have been increasing. To meet with these demands, the AR212E, AR316E, and AR424E is employed with a dedicated I/O processor RAID controller. The performance can reach to 1,400MB/sec without transfer rate drop in RAID setup. With the ability to scale-up as you grow supporting up to 122 SAS/SATA JBOD devices connected (AccuSTOR Series), ensures the user with a performance storage solution.

It has become a fact that users often have difficulty efficiently installing HBA drivers or be concerned HBA incompatible issues on some non-Windows operating systems. To alleviate concerns arising from comparable challenges, the AccuRAID PCIe extender series is packed with a PCIe re-driver HBA to get users free from HBA incompatibility and hardware installation problems. Additionally, the AccuRAID PCIe re-driver HBA provides users with a range of drivers and driver installation guides to help the installation process.

The AccuRAID PCIe extender series is supported by most of the OS such as Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7, Windows Server 2000/2003/2008, CentOS, Red Hat, SUSE, FreeBSD, Solaris, and OS X.

"The new AccuRAID PCI-E Extender is truly an ideal storage solution for High-definition video and heavy data intensive applications," said Stanley Chan, director of business development of Sans Digital. "The need for an easy to install and implement high-performance, high-capacity sub-system is something that IT administrators dream about and now we can fully support their needs with our new line of PCI-E Extender rackmount solutions."

The Sans Digital AccuRAID PCIe extender series are  with 3-years limited parts and labor warranty.
