Vizio PCs With Backblaze

Backblaze, Inc., an online backup provider, has partnered with VIZIO, Inc., America’s LCD HDTV company, to provide the Backblaze online backup service via the VIZIO ‘V’ button on the VIZIO All-in-One, Notebook and Thin + Light PCs.

Users of these new VIZIO PCs will be able to press the ‘V’ button on their keyboard and sign up instantly for the Backblaze online backup service for a small monthly fee. Once the service has been downloaded and is active, any data created and stored on the VIZIO PC, including photos, videos, music, spreadsheets, documents and more, will be automatically and continuously backed up to the Backblaze storage cloud.

There is no need to select which files to backup as all data is continuously and automatically backed up, and Backblaze provides unlimited cloud storage for backing up files, including connected external drives.

If data is lost via a hard drive crash, a stolen or lost system, or a file or folder being accidentally deleted, that data can be restored for free from a web browser. Users also have the option of having their data sent on a USB flash drive or an external hard drive for an additional charge. The service also includes the ‘Locate My Computer’ feature that assists in locating a stolen or lost VIZIO system.

VIZIO PC users can use the ‘V’ button to download and activate a free functional 15-day trial of the Backblaze online backup service. They can purchase the service using a one-time 20% discount off their initial purchase of the service from Backblaze which is regularly priced at $5 a month, $50 a year or $95 for two years per computer.
