RAID Inc. and Microsoft Achieve 1.6 Million IO/s and 11GB/s

At Microsoft TechEd North America 2012, Microsoft Corp. demonstrated Windows Server 2012 Storage Spaces with native raid in conjunction with RAID Inc.http://www.raidinc.com’s hardware solution.

RAID Inc.’s hardware solution consisted of 3 FusionRomley 2U Dual-Socket Romley-based servers in a cluster direct attached to its 2U 24-Bay SSD EBOD.

On stage, results were off the charts, recording 1.6 million IOPS and aggregate bandwidth performance of 11GB/s.

"This is the first of many performance-based, scale-out storage solutions that RAID Inc. will offer in the coming weeks. These solutions will rival or exceed the performance of any leading storage company at a fraction of the cost," stated Bob Picardi, CEO of RAID Inc.
