Previously VP and GM of Embedded Global Software Sales at Oracle, Civjan brings leadership in delivering scalable and sustainable revenue and profit growth by building and leading teams from vision to execution.
He will be responsible for driving Permabit’s sales and business development with a focus on building and growing the team and reports to CEO Tom Cook.
Civjan brings more than 20 years of global high tech leadership spanning the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific to his new role at Permabit. Prior to Permabit, he joined Oracle from the Sun acquisition and ran worldwide software and technology sales. While there, he drove Java licensing from its inception to making it ubiquitous globally in computing and consumer electronics, and grew the sales team into one of the largest OEM software organization in the world. He was also responsible for the sales integration of the MySQL acquisition.
Prior to Sun, Civjan drove sales at a number of global organizations where he developed and implemented ISV marketing plans and programs and developed and executed on long-term strategic planning and product business plans. He is specializing in P&L leadership, sales leadership and execution, product and services sales, business development, strategic planning and execution, growth management, operations management, and business integration.
He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from San Francisco State University. He also studied Biology and Psychology at the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO.
