Tributary V3.04 of Storage Director Backup Virtualization

Tributary Systems, Inc., an IBM OEM, ISV, zDeveloper in storage solutions, is releasing Version 3.04 its Storage Director backup virtualization software which runs on IBM System x Servers with IBM DS Disk Arrays, IBM tape drives and libraries for IBM midrange systems.

"Available now, Version 3.04 of Storage Director adds support for IBM i v6.1 and v7.1, and VIOS (Virtual I/O Server)," announced Ed Ahl, director of Business Development for Tributary. "We have also added enhanced data replication to reduce network latency during remote backup operations. Put your data on your WAN, not a van."
