Kaminario Raised $25 million
Israeli start-up in SSD/DRAM SAN

Last year the company, headquartered in Newton, MA with R&D in Yoqneam, Israel, got $15 million in financial funding. It has received around $60 million since its inception in 2008.
Co-founder and CEO Dani Golan served as president and GM of Performix Technologies, acquired by NICE Systems in 2006. Prior to that, he was an executive responsible for leading new ventures at EMC.
Kaminario K2 family of SAN storage systems offers the choice of MLC SSD and DRAM with capacity from 30TB to 100TB and at least sixteen 4Gb/8Gb FC ports, for throughput between 1.6GB/s and 16GB/s and 150,000 IO/s to 1,500,000 IO/s.
