Afghan Supermarket Chain Chooses Securstore

Superstores, the supermarket chain part of the SMN (Sadat Mansoor Naderi) Group in Kabul
has, in collaboration with Urolime
Technologies, has chosen Securstore‘s
Cloud Backup and Recovery service to protect its data.

Finest will be implementing Securstore’s solution across its entire Afghanistan
group with expansion planned for the future.

Due to the country’s volatility, ensuring DR and business
continuity protection was vital to Finest’s backup decision. Due to an
existing multi-disciplinary environment with Windows infrastructure currently
in place and Open Source ERP with front-end Java and MySQL/PostgreSQL databases
planned, a flexible solution was necessary. The company’s transfer to a leased network will also offer improvement to backup
and restore processes as data stores grow.

To meet security requirements, Finest needed a solution
that offered 256 AES Encryption with FIPS 140-2 certification. Securstore
ensured this was met, as well as other internationally recognised standards
such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act).
