Bill Schroeder Board’s Director, Vormetric

He has been CEO of several very successful private technology companies and taken them public, including Diamond Multimedia, Priam Corporation, and Conner Peripherals.

Schroeder was previously CEO of Diamond Multimedia Systems and president and vice-chairman of Conner Peripherals, two technology industry success stories. He has grown tech companies from start-up through IPO and led large, public companies. After leaving Vormetric in 2004, He transitioned to a strategic advisory role and serves as a board member for private technology companies. In this role, he has helped guide several companies to successful exits including WatchGuard Technologies (acquired by Francisco Partners), AlphaSmart (acquired by Renaissance Learning), Omneon (acquired by Harmonic), Xircom (acquired by Intel), and VXtreme (acquired by Microsoft).
Schroeder holds an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, as well as an MSEE and BSEE from Marquette University.
