Datacastle RED V5

Datacastle Corp. announced Datacastle RED version 5, the last version of the company’s centrally managed endpoint data protection solution.

It addresses the growing requirement for enterprise IT to provide secure and auditable access to enterprise data on tablets, smart phones, or browsers, anytime, anywhere.

The version 5 also includes enterprise deployment and management enhancements, including a redesigned, multi-tenant management console, enhanced Active Directory integration, and support for data retention policies. These features, along with data deduplication and data caching technologies, are designed to deliver network and storage performance relief for IT’s already heavily burdened resources.

Datacastle RED version 5 is also Microsoft Windows 8 ready.

It is available for private or public cloud deployments directly from the company or from one of its partners, including Seagate EVault, Redstor, ALVEA, MISCO, RTGX, and Bayleaf.
