Iron Mountain Acquires Three Records Storage Firms

File House Offsite Record Storage, Document Systems, First National Safe Deposit

Iron Mountain Incorporated has expanded its customer base and increased the company’s coverage area by acquiring records storage firms File House Offsite Record Storage in Fredericksburg, VA, and Document Systems Inc. in Columbia, SC and offsite, data protection provider First National Safe Deposit in the Philadelphia area.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

"Acquisitions are a key component of our overall strategy to drive growth and returns on invested capital, and we will continue to seek opportunities that enhance existing operations or expand our service footprint."

File House Offsite Record Storage has provided document storage to customers in the Fredericksburg, VA area since 2005.

Document Systems (DSI) has offered document storage and scanning since 1992 to customers in central and coastal South Carolina.

First National Safe Deposit Corp. provides secure storage of magnetic backup tapes, helping customers in the Greater Philadelphia area since the early 1980s to ensure they can recover from data loss.
