Promise at Blackmagic Design
To showcase Pegasus line of Thunderbolt storage solutions

The company will be among a select group of technology companies demonstrating the integration of its storage solutions within Blackmagic Design workflows. The event will include Blackmagic Design’s range of products for broadcast, post production and live events, as well as presentations by Blackmagic Design partners and renowned editors and color artists.
The event, which is free to attend, will include hands-on demonstrations and theater presentations of Blackmagic Design’s products, as well as the first demonstrations in California of the new products announced at NAB 2012, including the Blackmagic Cinema Camera, DaVinci Resolve 9.0, Teranex 2D and 3D Processors, HyperDeck Studio Pro, UltraStudio Express, Universal Videohub Editing Interface and Battery Converters.
From its portfolio of storage solutions developed for the rich media and creative professional markets, PROMISE will be showcasing its line of Thunderbolt enabled storage solutions: PROMISE SANLink and PROMISE Pegasus along with the new Pegasus JBOD’s.
- Pegasus – Thunderbolt hardware RAID storage solution providing fast performance, in 4-bay and 6-bay DAS configurations, all leveraging Intel’s Thunderbolt technology.
- Pegasus J2 – smallt Thunderbolt enabled external storage device designed to unleash the power of Thunderbolt technology. Powered by 6Gb mSATA flash, the J2 is capable of delivering over 700MB/s throughput.
- Pegasus J4 – 4-bay 2.5" small form factor high-performance Thunderbolt storage solution supporting HDD and SSD. Thunderbolt technology ports are capable of delivering two channels of 10Gb/s (1.25GB/s) per port.
- SANLink – Thunderbolt to FC adapter that provides media professionals with native FC access to their shared SAN digital assets.
