SurDoc Said to Be Superior to Google Drive

With free 10GB and 100GB at $10/year

SurDoc Corp., in cloud document and storage technology, responded to the recent release announcement of Google’s cloud storage product by stating that SurDoc continues to have a cost-effective solution that goes beyond cloud storage.

In response to Google’s announcement about its product, Google Drive, SurDoc noted that while Google is offering a free 5GB account and a premium 100GB account at $4.99/month (or $60/year), SurDoc offers a free 10GB account and premium 100GB account at $9.99/year.

In addition, SurDoc offers what Google Drive doesn’t the functionality to edit and sign documents in the cloud, and quality document view. "This quality document view," notes Suzanne Duris, marketing director, "is night and day. Google Drive integrates with Google Docs. Unfortunately, with Google Docs, document views are not ubiquitous. The look and feel changes depending on the device used to access the document. With SurDoc, the look and feel is consistent, regardless of the device used."

In addition, SurDoc offers the ease of backup and storage through an online portal – no apps, plugins or additional software are required. A user can immediately access SurDoc with their PC or Mac, tablet or smart phone connected to a modern web browser. Also SurDoc owns all of the technology on which the platform is built which means that costs are minimized, and data is safe and secure.
