Avanquest Mobile Technologies Introduces myCloud Companion

Division of Avanquest Software, Avanquest Mobile Technologies, developer of consumer and OEM software for mobile devices, announced myCloud Companion, a solution for online storage, backup, and access.

The product is available for operators, OEMs and resellers and provides control over application and portal features and branding. With myCloud Companion, end users can synchronize and backup data to their own private cloud storage site and share and stream files of all types and sizes including music, pictures and video.

It provides four-screen access across multiple platforms, including computers running the Windows and Macintosh operating systems, smartphones and tablets running iOS, Android and Blackberry, and plug-ins for Internet-connected TVs.

Other features include:

• Files can be accessed and backed up from any internet-connected device.
• One way and multi-directional synchronization.
• Multi-folder synchronization.
• Drag-and-drop file copying with desktop file explorer.
• Multimedia files can be played on any Internet-connected device.
• Large files, such as movies, can be streamed directly to a smart TV, PC, smartphone, or tablet.
• Files of any size can be shared with friends, family, and colleagues.
• Using APIs and web interfaces, it can be integrated into partners’ applications.
