MaxTronic Adding 1GbE iSCSI to Nova Entry RAID
For SMBs and IP video surveillance
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 2, 2012 at 2:56 pmMaxTronic International Co., Ltd. has added the 1GbE iSCSI interface product on the Nova Entry series, an entry-level, single controller storage system that is designed to meet the needs of small/medium businesses and IP video surveillance applications.
The 1Gb/s x 6 ports allow more iSCSI host connection and maintaining basic storage infrastructures. Includes a browser based, free embedded graphical user interface, which does not require a technical background. It is a way for SMBs and CCTV installers to configure and manage.
Various configurations including 2U/3U/4U platforms, and capacity can be expandable to 120 x HDD, capable of recording megapixel IP video footages for more than 6 months.
The Nova Entry series RAID system models
are available now with following configurations:
- Nova 29S: 2U form factor, six 1Gb/s iSCSI-host ports, 12 drive bays per RAID system, expansion up to 120 disk drives.
- Nova 39S: 3U form factor, six 1Gb/s iSCSI-host ports, 16 drive bays per RAID system, expansion up to 120 disk drives.
- Nova 49S: 4U form factor, six 1Gb/s iSCSI-host ports, 24 drive bays per RAID system, expansion up to 120 disk drives.
