Bookings Revenue Grew 108% From 1Q11 to 1Q12 for Veeam Software

Veeam Software Group announced results for the first quarter of 2012.

Total bookings revenue grew 108 percent in Q1 2012 compared to the same period in 2011, and new license bookings revenue increased 103 percent over the same period.

"Veeam has seen triple-digit growth each quarter since our founding, and Q1 was a great start for 2012," said Ratmir Timashev, Veeam CEO. "Our main focus is to provide our customers the #1 VM Backup solution and the best monitoring and reporting for virtual environments, and to ensure our partners have the right tools in place to demonstrate the value of Veeam."

Recent Veeam highlights include:

• Customers – Veeam added more than 5,000 new customers during the quarter increasing the total number of customers to more than 37,000.
• Geographic Growth – Opened a new office in Baar, Switzerland as the global headquarters for Veeam Software Group of companies.
• Certifications – Veeam achieved Gold Competency from Microsoft in three areas: ISV, Virtualization and Systems Management
• Seven Veeam professionals were recently recognized as 2012 VMware vExperts: Henk Arts – Systems Engineer, NEMEA, Vladimir Eskin – Systems Engineer, Russia & CIS, Chris Dearden – Solution Architect, NEMEA, Andreas Neufert – Systems Engineer, CEMEA, Warren Olivier -Senior Systems Engineer, NEMEA, David Siles – Director, Worldwide Technical Operations, Rick Vanover – Product Strategy Specialist
• Channel – Veeam Software USA and Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions signed a North American distribution agreement. Arrow ECS will assist Veeam with increasing its presence in the IT channel through comprehensive support in new reseller recruitment, as well as presales technical support and demand generation for solution providers selling Veeam technology.
