Fertility Centers of Illinois Acquired Overland SnapSAN

Overland Storage Inc.
announced that the Fertility Centers of Illinois,
one of the nation’s fertility treatment centers, selected the Overland Storage
SnapSAN solution to provide centralized storage and backup for 300 users
located in 12 medical offices across Illinois.

With the SnapSAN solution, the Fertility Centers are able to automatically backup data to an offsite DR location while benefitting from increased data access
speeds and reduced storage costs.

"In the past few years
all of our offices have eliminated paper medical charts, making us 100 percent
paperless. With records being accessed electronically, our storage requirements
have dramatically increased," said Chris Diamond, information systems
manager, Fertility Centers of Illinois. "We chose the SnapSAN solution from Overland Storage because it allows
us to centrally store and manage all of our data on one device. In addition, we
utilize the built-in replication to synchronize data to our offsite location
for redundancy and disaster recovery."
