Venkat Ramakrishnan VP Engineering, Active Storage

Venkat has an history in the technology industry, having worked for such companies as Cisco, IBM (Mylex), and most recently, Promise Technology Inc., where he has served as their director of engineering since 2009.

Venkat’s deep system knowledge and experience with complex enterprise level software, high performance file systems and storage networks will serve him well at Active Storage as we push our industry’s technology forward," said Steve Rizzone, CEO of Active Storage. In his most recent past position, Venkat was responsible for RAID system development, from the RAID stack through firmware and software, and managed engineering teams simultaneously in the U.S., China, and India.
