IBM: Fiscal 1Q12 Financial Results
For storage, hardware down 4% and software up 18%

Revenues from system storage hardware, included in its Systems and Technology segment, decreased 4% from the same period one year ago.
The value continues to shift to storage software up 18%.
Tivoli software was up 5% and within Tivoli, storage portfolio was up double digits once again.
For FY ended in December 2011, IBM’s yearly sales were down 1% for storage hardware but up 5% for global storage activity, once more thanks to Tivoli and its storage software sales growing 30%.
