Signiant Joins NetApp Alliance Partner Program

Signiant, Inc., in intelligent, enterprise file movement software for media and
entertainment, has joined the NetApp Alliance Partner Program.

Signiant is collaborating with NetApp to offer
industry-specific solutions for the fast, secure movement of media and metadata
integrated with NetApp FAS Data ONTAP unified storage systems and the E-Series
high-bandwidth modular storage systems.

already share many high-profile accounts in broadcast, studio production,
sports and media services. Formalizing the alliance enables us to bring even
greater value to our mutual customers," said Tom Canavan, Signiant’s

closely integrating our offerings, our companies will address growing market
demand for high-performance solutions that streamline transfer, storage, access
and archival processes related to high-value digital content."

Signiant provides a suite of software solutions for the accelerated, secure and
automated exchange of media that feature
enterprise controls and reporting. This includes the Signiant
Managers+Agents software for organizations that require advanced file movement
automation and workflow support and Signiant Media Exchange software for
content creators and distributors who need to share large media files with
other users and systems via a Web, desktop or mobile interface.

Media organizations have a business-critical
need to move and store digital media as efficiently and cost-effectively as
possible, while applying enterprise-level security and maintaining complete
control over the exchanges. By extending the Signiant file movement workflow to
NetApp storage systems, the joint solution helps media companies meet these
stringent requirements. NetApp’s customers include several of the largest broadcast and media organizations.

At the 2012 NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 16-19,
NetApp will demonstrate a solution implemented by Hogarth Worldwide, a
marketing and advertising agency, that features the Signiant file movement
software working with the Vidispine media asset management system to transfer,
store and manage the company’s content on the NetApp E-Series unified storage
platform.
