Qsan RAIDs Pass VMware Ready Program

QSAN technology Inc. announced that its P300Q, P400Q, P500Q, P600Q, F600Q and P110V04 storage arrays have passed the VMware Ready Programme achieving certification for vSphere 5 (ESXi 5.0).

This means that customers can take advantage of the virtualisation applications offered through VMware with the reassurance that the Storage products are fully compatible.
 
Aimed at the SMB market place Qsan’s P300Q and P500Q are iSCSI SAN products with Intel Xscale-based processors. P400Q and P600Q are also iSCSI SAN arrays but with Intel Xeon Jasper Forest processors. F600Q is 8Gb FC SAN storage with Intel Xeon Jasper Forest processors.
 
Qsan joined the VMware Ready Programme as many of its SMB customers are using or planning to use VMware virtualisation technology to operate a variety of mission critical applications. Qsan VMware Ready arrays interoperate within a vSphere 5 virtual environment, having met the new VMware integration and interoperability standards requirements.
