Samsung Flash Chip Plant in Xi’an, China
$7 billion project in operation at the end of 2013
By Jean Jacques Maleval | March 27, 2012 at 3:04 pmSouth Korea Samsung Electronics Co. selected to build its flash memory chip project in the Chinese mainland in Xi’an City, capital city of Shaanxi Province.
The project is planned to be built at the state-level Xi’an High-tech Industrial Development Zone, southern suburbs of Xi’an City.
It will adopt advanced technology, with an initial investment of $7 billion and being planned to come into operation at the end of 2013.
