EMC Isilon Tops Brand Leader Survey for HPC Storage

IT Brand Pulse, a source of data and analysis about IT infrastructure, announced the results of the March 2012 Brand Leader Awards survey.

In this survey, respondents were asked which vendors they perceive as the leader in two categories: HPC Server and HPC Storage.
For each category, respondents chose the brand leader in market, price,
performance, reliability, service & support, and innovation.

Highlights of the survey:

• In the March brand leader survey covering HPC Servers, IT pros
  chose HP as the market leader, with top honors also coming in
  Innovation, Service and Support, and the all-important category of
  Performance. IBM was chosen as the Reliability Leader and placed second
  in three categories, including market leader. Dell won the price leader
  award, while securing the third spot in five categories.
• EMC Isilon dominated the brand leader survey for HPC Storage,
  winning outright in five of six brand leader categories and tying for
  first place with NetApp in service & support. Dell won the price
  leader award, while NetApp landed second in four categories, and Hitachi
  Data Systems took third in two categories.
