Infortrend Partners With KOM Networks

Providing WORM compliance on storage solutions

Infortrend
Technology, Inc.
and KOM
Networks
announced the integration of the KOMpliance Storage Gateway with
iSCSI/FC SAN storage systems from Infortrend’s ESVA (Enterprise Scalable
Virtualized Architecture) and EonStor DS families.

The technologies in this integration optimize productivity,
simplify storage management and protect archived data to meet regulatory and corporate requirements for enterprises and
SMBs. KOMpliance’s patented eWORM technology provides advanced data protection
and retention – enhancing Infortrend’s ESVA and EonStor DS
arrays and data services.

"Businesses need to be
concerned about government regulations and liability to avoid the high cost of
non-compliance,
" said Tony Chu, president at Infortrend. "Together, KOM and Infortrend offer a simple,
cost-effective way to store, manage and fully secure data for regulatory
compliance without the high cost and complexity of proprietary solutions.
"

"KOMpliance adds key
benefits and tremendous value to the Infortrend SAN environment, especially for
customers with strict compliance requirements,
" said Kamel Shaath,
CTO, KOM Networks. "The KOMpliance
hard disk eWORM technology can efficiently complete data protection over an
entire Infortrend SAN for simple and affordable compliance.
"

Infortrend offers storage
products that feature data services and management platforms. The KOMpliance platform-agnostic storage appliance
archives files to RAID arrays and other hard disks for
tamper-proof protection and long-term retention. With Infortrend storage and
KOMpliance, businesses of all sizes can add a secure, compliant
vault for digital assets to their existing SAN environment without
administrative, user or system modifications or downtime.

The integration of the KOMpliance Storage Gateway with iSCSI/FC SAN
storage systems from Infortrend’s ESVA (Enterprise Scalable Virtualized
Architecture) and EonStor DS families is currently only available in North
America
