Blancco Erasure Software Receives Certification

Certification verifies security performance of data destruction software for UK government entities and organizations with stringent data protection policies and compliance requirements. Blancco Oy Ltd., in data erasure and computer reuse solutions, announced that its data erasure software has received Common Criteria certification Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 3+, augmented with ALC_FLR.3.

This internationally recognized certification verifies that Blancco data erasure software has completed an independent testing process validating its ability to permanently erase data from hard drives and other storage devices. It also verifies that Blancco software conforms to standards sanctioned by the International Standards Organization (ISO-IEC 15408).
