Freecom at CeBIT 2012

Showing NAS, Thunderbolt SSD, external HDDs

Freecom, part of the Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Group and manufacturer of external hard drives and portable storage devices, will be exhibiting its new products and services, as well as its current range of digital storage and multi-media solutions at this year’s CeBIT in Hanover, Germany (6-10 March, 2012).

Freecom will present its line up of storage products with innovative hard drives, NAS and SSD solutions, and technologies including the Thunderbolt interface, which enables faster data transfer rates. The Freecom range will be displayed on a booth in the Planet Reseller area.

New Thunderbolt-ready and SSD devices
Freecom will unveil new products featuring SSD and the latest high-speed interface.

Mobile Drive Sq
Designed in collaboration with industrial designer Arman Emami, the new  Mobile Drive Sq, an external storage device, was recently awarded a coveted iF GOLD accolade – putting it on a par with manufacturer Apple in the same category – and features a meta-organic design with smooth lines and a square form factor. This drive looks stunning next to any notebook or computer, and can even be connected to a TV to record and playback programmes.

There will be three arrivals into Freecom’s Sq family this year – the Hard Drive Sq, Network Drive Sq and Mobile Drive Sq TV.

SilverStore 2-Drive NAS
The SilverStore 2-Drive NAS enables users to access their files whenever they want from any location. With the built-in free Tonido Private Cloud functionality, users can view files on their Smartphone, PC, Mac or tablet, literally keeping their data at their fingertips 24/7.
