Arkeia Accelerates Channel Campaigns in the Americas

Targeting MSPs and VARs with help of Channel Chargers

Arkeia Software, Inc. announced a strategic campaign to accelerate their
channel presence in the Americas.

The company will develop new outreach and
recruitment efforts for MSP and VAR partners interested in reselling Arkeia’s
solutions to protect virtual environments and more than 200 physical platforms.

Arkeia’s Partner Program provides channel partners with the tools and benefits for a long-term
competitive advantage. The tiered, progression-based program includes special
pricing, deal registration, technical training, marketing collateral and demand
generation.

To assist with this initiative, Arkeia has engaged the services of
Channel Chargers, a technology channel sales and marketing company with  experience in
technology channels.

"Having developed a strong channel in EMEA, we are now turning
our focus to the Americas,
" said Howard Doherty, VP of Sales for Arkeia.
"With the dramatic increase in demand for purpose-built backup appliances,
we are confident that the Channel Chargers are the right team to help our channel
partners increase sales with our suite of products. Their track record,
understanding and advocacy of the channel are key components of our commitment
to giving the channel our best possible support in this booming market.
"

While the backup and recovery market grew by 6 percent last year,
Arkeia’s sales to new customers increased in 2011 at a rate that outpaced the
category by a factor of ten. The reliability of the company’s solution is
confirmed by 94 percent maintenance renewal rate.

Recently, the company announced its 3rd generation of backup
appliances and virtual appliances for deployment for mid-market customers,
as well as a new way for MSPs and VARs to offer a complete, remotely managed
cloud backup solution for local and offsite data protection.

"We see a clear shift in the data protection market from backup
software toward backup appliances. Our channel partners are asking us for
integrated data protection solutions instead of point products,
" said John
Boyken, Channel Chargers President. "The efficiency, price point, margins
and unique all-in-one solution Arkeia makes available, gives us a compelling
message for channel partners.
"

"We have been searching for a more robust solution for the
mid-market and Arkeia has what we are looking for,
" said Kevin Reynolds,
Owner of Westford, Massachusetts – based Signal Computer Products, Inc. "We are
focusing on integration of solutions for virtualized servers within our
customer community and Arkeia has a unique approach to backup and disaster recovery
for these environments. Arkeia demonstrates the right combination of product,
market and channel focus at exactly the right time.
