Credit Card-sized Storage Wifi Device by PQI

Power Quotient International Co., Ltd. (PQI), member of the Foxlink Group, unveiled the Wi-Fi enabled PQI Air Drive during the 2012 International CES.

The Air Drive is rooted in the concept of sharing and emphasizes a patented small, lightweight circuit design and the incorporation of the latest Wi-Fi technology.

It offers a solution for users of smart phones, tablets, and other handheld devices who often run into the problem of limited memory expansion when the built-in memory becomes inadequate. The designed body is as small as a credit card and 8 mm thick, enabling it to slide into a shirt pocket. Its brushed metal shell with a hairline finish is available in both iron grey and jet black. The entire device weighs 55 grams. In addition, the SD card slot supports plug and play. Consumers can tailor the device’s capacity as needed including instant expansion up to 32GB SDHC. When the power is turned on, a green power indicator light and a blue Wi-Fi indicator light flash at the same time to indicate disk activity.

The Air Drive provides a retractable USB cord which eliminates the need to carry extra cables. The cord is concealed in the drive and can be pulled out when needed.

Consumers can download free PQI app, S+ Flash (which supports Android and iOS), at the app store before using the product. The user interface allows you to share your photos, videos, and music simultaneously with up to 5 friends at the touch of a button. The built-in lithium-ion battery offers up to 5 hours of continuous video playback for a single user.
