For cloud storage and backup
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on February 8, 2012 at 3:10 pmRedstor Limited, a Britain’s cloud service providers, backs up its reputation as a ‘Little British Battler’ announcing 43% growth in its cloud backup and storage business in the last 12 months.
- Growing partner focus with over 80% of business derived though the channel;
- Over 50% of UK Primary Schools using or having access to Redstor’s Backup Service through growing partner community; and
- Cloud income increasing over 43% through its partner focus
The news follows on from a number of announcements given by Redstor in 2012 around its push into cloud storage and its channel focus and this evolution was recognised by IT analyst firm TechMarketView in their inaugural Little British Battlers event where Redstor was featured.
Redstor Managing Director, Paul Evans said: "We are really excited about 2012 after a great start to the year. Our recognition as a Little British Battler is an acknowledgement of the dynamism, determination and the forward thinking it takes to survive as a small firm entering an extremely fast changing cloud market place and the role we want to play in helping break the stranglehold of the ‘big fish’. We believe we are helping our partners dip their toes into the cloud market place by creating compelling recurring cloud backup and storage offerings which they are able to offer to their customers."
Announcing the Little British Battlers shortlist, TechMarketView praised Redstor’s foresight, its business model and its wholesale-only strategy as the way SME’s can protect themselves from ‘deeper pockets in the market’: "The impressive thing about Reading-based Redstor is the way it has continued to shift its business model to respond to market disruption. It’s the sort of flexibility that many a larger infrastructure services player would struggle to deliver".
