Latest Member of DVS Digital Video Disk Recorders

With the launch of Pronto4K, DVS Digital Video Systems GmbH presents a further development of its disk recorder product line.

The new DVS Pronto4K disk recorder allows compressed or uncompressed material from HD to 4K resolution to be played out as well as compressed or uncompressed SD, HD and 2K material to be captured in real time. With support for a variety of file formats and 3D play-out at up to 2K resolution, the Pronto4K is extremely versatile.

As a flexible disk recorder, Pronto4K is not just the solution for trade shows or presentations – it is a play-out device for video walls or LCD screens. Content is played out via one HDMI 1.4a or four HDMI 1.3 interfaces. And stereoscopic material can be played out via one HDMI 1.4a, two HDMI 1.3 or two 3-Gbit/s SDI interfaces which also makes the Pronto4K perfect for the 3D market.

The Pronto4K can be put to  range of uses thanks to freely selectable options which build on the base version to suit customer requirements. The synchronization of multiple Pronto4K disk recorders enables the realization of demanding multi-screen presentations.

As Pronto4K supports uncompressed as well as compressed formats such as MPEG, DVCPRO, AVC-Intra, XDCAM and DNxHD, these can be processed in the timeline without conversion. What’s more, the data can be worked upon directly using the DVS disk recorder thanks to its editing and conforming functions. It supports the latest interfaces and can be controlled via SOAP or a Web service, for instance. And as open systems, all members of the Pronto family are easy to implement into existing workflows.
