Namtek Corp. announced its new partnership with ExaGrid Systems, Inc.

the market. ExaGrid is a provider of disk-based backup solutions with data deduplication. The ExaGrid partnership
expands upon the data protection options Namtek already provides
to commercial, healthcare, academic and governmental organizations across the
country.

ExaGrid’s disk backup solution works with existing
backup applications. It enables faster and more reliable backups and restores,  scalability with no forklift upgrades, and fast offsite disaster
recovery for low price. Customers report backup
time reductions of 30 to 90 percent over traditional tape backup. The company’s
patented byte-level data deduplication technology reduces the amount of disk
space needed by a range of 10:1 to as high as 50:1, or more, resulting in a
cost that’s comparable to traditional tape-based backup.
